Hyas Secures $2M in Debt Financing from SVB

CyberSecurityHyas, a Victoria, BC, Canada-based provider of attribution intelligence solutions for infosec and cybersecurity professionals, raised $2m in debt financing.

Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) provided the financial resources.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its solutions.

Led by Jeff Spencer, COO, Hyas provides attribution intelligence solutions that enable enterprises to analyze clearly-defined threat data, mitigate attacks and track hackers.
Its Comox engine already provides Fortune 100 companies with billions of exclusive, proprietary threat indicators. The company also plans to expand its offerings over the next quarter to include Saltspring, a cloud-based tool that provides early warnings of global attacks in real time.

Hyas recently secured a $6.7m Series A round led by M12, Microsoft’s venture fund, with additional funding from Susa Ventures, an early-stage technology fund based in San Francisco.
