Bidroom, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based provider of a hotel booking platform, raised €15m in new funding round.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds for:
– product development,
– onboarding of more users and hotels,
– introduction of a redesign of the platform in the second quarter of the next year, and
– growth of its staff to 200 professionals by 2020.
Started in 2014 and led by CEO Bas Tolmeijer and CCO Francesco Monaco, Bidroom is an Online Travel Community and a hotel booking platform with +120,000 hotels in 128 countries. The company does not charge commission to the hotels but works with an annual membership model, whereby hotels only pay the contribution after proven success.
Bidroom has offices in Amsterdam, Krakow, Istanbul and Paris.
