RollKall, a Dallas, TX-based platform for managing and scheduling off-duty security officers, closed a $1.5m seed funding.
The round was led by Founder Equity Fund and The Athos Group.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its partner ecosystem, implement a new payment platform called RKPay, and fast-track strategic acquisitions.
Founded in 2013 by Ben Poch, CEO, RollKall provides an off-duty management platform for security providers, independent coordinators, and law enforcement agencies. It connects off-duty officers to freelance security jobs to include thousands of officers from over 900 law enforcement departments across the United States. The platform allows them to work for multiple entities while ensuring compliance with their respective agencies and allowing full reporting back to the agency.
