Eventador Raises $3.8M in Seed Funding

-

Eventador.io, an Austin, Texas-based Stream-Processing-as-a-Service provider, raised $3.8m in seed funding.

The round, which included conversion of a $1.3m angel funding, was led by LiveOak Venture Partners with participation from Deep Space Ventures, RSH Ventures, Capital Factory and existing investor Keshif Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Venu Shamapant, Partner at LiveOak, will join Eventador.io’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to grow US/EU sales and marketing as well as deepen the capabilities in engineering, operations, support, and R&D.

Launched in late 2016 by Kenny Gorman, Founder and CEO, and Erik Beebe, Founder and CTO, Eventador provides a SaaS based streaming data solution which built on Apache Kafka® and Apache Flink® allows customers to build, deploy, and manage modern streaming data applications, without complex underlying infrastructure.
Use cases include IoT, manufacturing, social, network security, machine learning, threat detection and geolocation services where real-time data is critical.
