Cambridge Blockchain Raises $7M in Series A Funding

Cambridge Blockchain, Inc., a Cambridge, MA-based enterprise data management and digital identity platform, raised $7m in the first close of a Series A equity financing.

The round – which included new capital and conversion of outstanding debt – was led by HCM Capital, joined by Partech and Digital Currency Group.

The company intends to use the funds to extend its blockchain-based Enterprise Data Management software to new applications.

Led by Matthew Commons, CEO, Cambridge Blockchain provides a distributed digital identity system that resolves the competing challenges of transparency and privacy, resulting in faster customer onboarding, lower costs, and enhanced compliance through a single, trusted and consistent view of customer reference data.
