PacketFabric, a Culver City, CA-based connectivity-as-a-service platform, secured $25m in Series B funding.
The round was led by NantCapital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow and expand adoption of its services.
Led by newly appointed President and Chief Operating Officer Chad Milam, PacketFabric leveragas an automated SDN-based network architecture and optical and packet switching technology to enable dynamic, real-time connectivity services between major carrier-neutral colocation facilities at terabit-scale.
The company’s platform facilitates coast-to-coast connectivity between more than 150 premier colocation facilities across 17 U.S. markets, and enables scalable network deployment via its advanced Application Program Interface (API) and web-based portal.
PacketFabric now operates a U.S. presence that includes more than 150 Points of Presence (PoPs) in 17 metro markets with a terabit-scale backbone.
