Ranger Health, a San Antonio, TX-based on-demand healthcare service and technology company, closed on a $10m Series A funding round.
Backers included Holt Ventures.
The company will use the funds to further develop its technology platform and to expand into additional markets throughout Texas and the Southwest.
Led by Cameron Powell and Michael C. Zucker, Ranger Health delivers on-demand, personal care and allows individuals to experience face-to-face healthcare for minor injuries and illnesses at home or office via an app.
Corporate clients use the service as a benefit to their employees to enhance productivity and satisfaction while reducing healthcare spending.
