Connatix, a New York-based video technology provider and syndication platform for premium content publishers, secured $15m in growth equity funding.
The round was led by Volition Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Larry Cheng, Managing Partner at Volition Capital will join Connatix founders David Kashak and Oren Stern on the board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in the market.
Founded in 2014 and led by David Kashak, CEO, Connatix gives publishers the tools to create unique video content from their own or library and further enables outlets such as Mashable, Time Inc., Billboard and Entrepreneur to syndicate their video content across their own properties or those outside their business.
The company is currently working with more than 4,000 publishers and partners.
