Koukoi Games, an Oulu, Finland developer of licensed IP mobile games, raised $1m in funding.
Backers included IPR.VC and TEKES, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.
The company intends to use the funds to begin producing mobile games in the IP market alongside own original productions
Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Antti Kananen, Koukoi Games is a mobile game startup focused on producing Intellectual Property based mobile games. The company, which has already started their first licensed IP production, based on an upcoming “Hollywood” title, plans to continue to search for new partners for future cooperation.
