ContactEngine, a London, UK-based customer conversation technology provider, completed a £2m second round of funding.
Amadeus Capital and Beringea will each invest £1m.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into Europe and North and South America as well as its research and development activities to further develop its offering, reach and partnership network.
Founded in 2009 by Mark K. Smith, CEO, ContactEngine provides a cloud-hosted automated conversation technology prlatform that aims to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency via the customer’s choice of channel, whether SMS, IP messaging, email or voice-calls.
The company, which has already established a presence in Italy, Germany and Brazil, serves such clients as Whirlpool, Virgin Media, Sky, Telecom Italia and British Gas.
