Homebase, a San Francisco-based provider of scheduling and time-tracking tools for businesses, raised $6m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from previous backers Baseline Ventures and Cowboy Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Keith Rabois of Khosla Ventures joined Homebase’s board. In conjunction with the funding, Keith Rabois joined the board as part of Khosla’s investment.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate team growth and product development.
Led by John Waldmann and Rushi Patel, Homebase provides free online tools and mobile apps to manage hourly work.Ā Core featuresĀ simplify payroll and scheduling,Ā team communication, andĀ free time management.Ā Launched out of beta last year, the company has served more than 50,000 local businesses, with customers in all 50 states.
