Gobiquity Receives $6M Investment Round

Gobiquity, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based developer of mobile vision screening technology, received a $6M investment round.

Venture capital firm InterWest Partners made the investment in a first close of its Series B financing.

The company intends to use the funds for commercial growth, specifically its product development and global expansion.

Led by Andrew Burns, CEO, Gobiquity Mobile Health provides innovative mobile applications that bring specialty screening tools to providers and caregivers. These include GoCheck Kids™, a comprehensive vision screening solution available for iPhone and at www.gobiquity.com, as well as still in development pediatric vision technology to bring primary care to adults.
