Flashpoint, a NYC-based platform that brings intelligence from the Deep & Dark Web, closed a $10m Series B funding round.
The round was led by Greycroft Partners with participation from new investors Jump Capital and Leaders Fund and existing investors TechOperators, K2 Intelligence, Bloomberg Beta, and Cisco Investments. In conjunction with the funding, Ellie Wheeler, Partner at Greycroft Partners, will be joining Flashpoint’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand into Business Risk Intelligence (BRI).
Led by CEO Josh Lefkowitz, CSO Chris Camacho and VP of Intelligence Tom Hofmann, Flashpoint leverages intelligence from the Deep & Dark Web to deliver a platform that allows business units and functions across organizations to mitigate risk. Fortune 500 and government customers use the company’s intelligence across the enterprise, including bolstering cybersecurity, confronting fraud, detecting insider threats, enhancing physical security, assessing M&A opportunities, and addressing vendor risk and supply chain integrity.
The company also has offices in Tyson’s Corner, VA, and Dublin, Ireland.
