Hiri, a Dublin, Ireland-based enterprise email startup, raised $1m in funding.
Backers included Delta Partners, ACT Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand the business, mainly in the USA, where it opened an office (in San Francisco).
Co-founded by Kevin Kavanagh, CEO, and David Power, COO Hiri is an enterprise email app designed to enable business users to save time by getting their email under control, improving the way they communicate and improving productivity.
The solution, which integrates with both Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, works by allowing users to drag the email into a into a To-do list on the right hand side in order to separate with is important from the rest, reducing the time they spend on the email.
