Tubi TV Raises $6M in Series B Funding

tubitvTubi TV, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a movie streaming platform, raised $6m in Series B funding.

Backers included Lionsgate, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Cota Capital, Foundation Capital, Noosheen and Zod Nazem, Bobby Yazdani, Mark Amin.

The company will use the funds to expand operations.

A subsidiary of Adrise, Tubi TV provides a free and legal, ad-supported movie streaming platform available on Connected TV devices, mobile, and the web.
It currently has over 40,000 TV and movie titles available including top classic movies, reality TV, documentaries, kung-fu flicks, exercise videos, film festival favorites, Korean dramas, after-hours fare, sci-fi/fantasy, travel, and more, from partners including Paramount Pictures and Starz.
