eMoov Raises £2.6M in Equity Crowdfunding

emooveMoov, a Brentwood, UK-based online estate agency, raised approximately £2.6m in equity crowdfunding via Crowdcube.

Investments ranging from £10 to £500k were raised from 795 individual investors, including VC investment from Episode 1 Ventures, Maxfield Capital Partners and Swiss firm Startive Ventures, as well as from the London-based accelerator Seedcamp.
They acquired a 12.10% stake in the company.

Led by Russell Quirk, CEO and Founder, eMoov is an online estate agent, selling residential properties for home sellers. The company uses a fixed, lower fee approach and technology that ensures sellers and buyers that the process is transparent.
It plans a further round in early 2016 with an IPO or private sale anticipated in the next few years.
