LearnUp, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of HR solutions, raised $8m in Series A financing.
The round was co-led by venture capital firms New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Shasta Ventures, with participation from Greylock Partners, Floodgate, and High Line Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand products and partnerships across industries, including retail, call centers, hospitality, food service and more.
Led by Alexis Ringwald, CEO and Co-founder, LearnUp partners with employers to streamline hiring operations by providing job-specific online training and interview coaching solutions.
The company serves companies including Gap Inc., Sprint, Staples, Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Fresh Market and AT&T.
