MacroFab Raises $2M in Seed Funding

-

MacroFab, a Houston, TX-based cloud-enabled electronics manufacturing platform, raised $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Techstars. In addition to the funding, Jason Seats, Managing Director of Techstars in Austin, joined MacroFab’s board of directors.

The company will use the funds to grow its team and expand the software and manufacturing capabilities of the platform.

Led by Chris Church, founder and CEO, MacroFab allows hardware startups to upload their designs, get an automatic quote, and order prototypes or production runs through the online cloud-based platform. Entrepreneurs have total control over their product from design to customer delivery while all assembly is performed on the company’s manufacturing line in Houston.
