Rinse, a San Francisco, CA-based service that offers clothing clean and care, raised $3.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Arena Ventures, ff Venture Capital, Great Oaks Venture Capital, Accelerator Ventures, MESA Ventures, Expansion Venture Capital, Rothenberg Ventures, Base Ventures, Structure Capital, Otter Rock Capital, and a select group of angels.
The company intends to use the funds to open new markets (first in Los Angeles) and expand its service offerings.
Founded by Ajay Prakash and James Joun, Rinse offers a service for people to clean and care their wardrobe via a delivery platform combined with a suite of services including dry cleaning, launder & press, hang dry, leather care, repairs, and donations.
