PetMe, a Milan, Italy-based pet sitting platform, raised €250k in funding.
New unnamed shareholders made the investment.
The company, which has raised €400k in total, is using the funds to continue to expand the adoption of the platform.
Co-founded in July 2014 by Alice Cimini and Carlo Crudele, PetMe is a community platform offering pet sitting services, both in house of as a host. It currently features 4.000 vetted pet sitters, other 2.000 waiting for certification and over 12,000 suscribers.
The company is incubated within b-ventures, the startup accelerator of Buongiorno SpA.
