Stox Raises $8M in Series A Funding

stoxStox, a Limassol, Cyprus-based online stock brokerage startup, raised $8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Singulariteam.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its proprietary real equity trading platform.

Led by CEO and Co-Founder Roy Shaham, Stox provides a trading platform that features social tools showing which stocks are being traded and how other investors are performing. Users can follow other investors on the platform and copy them trade for trade.
Stox is currently in invitation-only Beta mode and plans to launch in Europe within the next couple of weeks, expanding to the US market later in the year.
