eGifter, a Huntington, NY-based e-gifting company, raised $3.5m in funding.
Backers included follow-on investments from the Long Island Angel Network (LIAN), BDS Capital, Angel Dough Ventures, 94Bits and several angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth by adding members to its R&D, sales and marketing teams.
Founded in 2011 and led by Tyler Roye, CEO, eGifter provides an e-gifting platform that leverages integrations with social networks to allow retailers to drive more gifting. The company also has a consumer-facing mobile website and mobile app that sells more than 225 brands of eGift cards.
