Accela, a San Ramon, California-based provider of civic engagement solutions for government, acquired Springbrook Software and SoftRight, providers of cloud-based fund accounting, payroll, human resources and utility billing software.
The amount of the deals, which followed the recent Accela’s $143.5m funding, were not disclosed.
Springbrook Software is based in Portland, Oregon while SoftRight is based in Westford, Massachusetts.
According to a note, Springbrook’s solutions will anchor the Finance & Administration solution suite on the Accela Civic Platform with SoftRight’s regionally specialized products bolstering the offering.
Led by Maury Blackman, CEO and President, Accela provides civic engagement solutions for government. Its Civic Platform, which includes open APIs and mobile apps, includes tools for land management, finance, asset management, licensing and case management, legislative management, etc. The company serves more than 2,000 customers worldwide via its offices in San Francisco, Portland, New York, Melbourne and Dubai.
