Sentitis, a Madrid, Spain-based provider of a social media analytics platform, raised $1.3m in funding.
Backers included AXON Partners Group, FIDES, investment arm of Fundación José Manuel Entrecanales, Startcaps Ventures, 500 Startups and Meet and Money.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand internationally.
Co-founded by CEO Jorge Peñalva and CTO Enrique Fueyo Ramírez, Sentisis applies text analytics technologies and artificial intelligence to allow to determine reputation in social networks, extract the most significative content and categorize the users that are relevant to the users brand or company.
The company serves more than 60 clients in 6 countries and employs 25 people.
