Red Canary, a Denver, CO-based endpoint threat detection and response company, closed a $2.5m seed funding.
The round was led by Kyrus.
The company intends to use the funds to bring to market its managed service.
Led by CEO and co-founder Brian Beyer, Red Canary provides a multi-dimensional endpoint threat detection system that combines technology with proven techniques and human analysts to assess thousands of potentially malicious events per day.
The first technology partners that help make up its platform include Bit9 + Carbon Black, Farsight Security and Threat Recon.
