PhoeniX Software, an Enschede, the Netherlands-based provider of solutions for micro and nano technologies, secured an undisclosed amount of new capital.
The Twente Technology Fund made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to include additional capabilities in its OptoDesigner software solution, expand its strategic collaborations with foundries, design houses and software vendors and develop new partnerships.
Founded in 2003 and led by Twan Korthorst, CEO, PhoeniX Software provides integrated software solutions, training and customer support to customers ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, universities and research institutes, active in integrated photonics, microfluidics, MEMS, printed electronics and other micro and nano technologies.
Its OptoDesigner solution for the integrated photonics market combines photonics simulation capabilities and layout implementation to enable designers to automatically synthesize photonics designs.
