Accuris Networks, a San Mateo, CA and Dublin, Ireland-based provider of a cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity platform, completed a $15m equity funding round.
Backers included new investors Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund and the China Ireland Growth Technology Fund.
The company intends to use the funds for product development of AccuROAM™ platform, build additional solutions such as carrier-grade Wi-Fi offload and roaming, and expand in China, Japan and other Asian markets.
Led by newly appointed CEO Jeff Brown, a seasoned U.S.-based wireless executive, and Chairman Larry Quinn, Accuris Networks is a provider of convergence, roaming and interworking solutions. The AccuROAM platform is designed to enable Communication Service Providers to have integrated solutions by connecting current and emerging mobile broadband networks such as GSM CDMA, LTE and Wi-Fi.
