Moonscape Ventures Launches $120M Venture Capital Fund Focused on IoT

Moonscape Ventures Moonscape LogoGlobal entrepreneur Mati Kochavi (photo) launched Moonscape Ventures, a $120m venture capital firm focused on startups in the Internet of Things and related technologies.

Moonscape Ventures makes early stage investments in new and innovative technologies in a wide variety of sectors related to the Internet of Things, including smart cities, big data and news and media technologies.

Portfolio investments benefit from cooperation with Kochavi’s existing network of companies including IoT solutions provider AGT International and Vocativ, a media company based on “deep web” technologies.
Led by Tammy Mahn and Yonit Golub Serkin, the firm makes investments in early stage companies throughout the world ranging from $500k to $5m.

It is based in Tel Aviv.
