inContact, a Salt Lake City, UT-based provider of cloud contact center software and optimization tools, acquired Uptivity (formerly CallCopy), a Columbus, OH-based provider of a complete workforce optimization suite.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. With the deal, Edison Ventures exited Uptivity, which provides a workforce optimization suite including speech and desktop analytics, agent coaching, call and desktop recording, as well as quality, performance, workforce management and satisfaction surveys.
The company serves more than 700 customers.
Following the deal, Uptivity’s products will remain the same under the Uptivity Discover Suite. inContact will continue to invest in Discover, providing additional resources for R&D.
