Urgent.ly Raises Funding with CIT GAP Funds

urgentlyUrgent.ly, a Northern Virginia-based startup that provides a mobile on-demand platform that connects users with nearby and available roadside assistance, raised a funding round with CIT GAP Funds.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand their presence in the DC market and additional markets as well as to evolve the product experience.

Led by CEO Chris Spanos, Urgent.ly connects users to safe on-demand roadside assistance. The app locates the nearest available help, while allowing users to track and identify the help in real time on their smartphone, as it travels to their vehicle’s location,
