Branding Brand Raises $9.5M in Series B Funding

Branding Brand, a Pittsburgh, PA-based mobile commerce platform to major retailers, raised $9.5m in Series B funding.

The round was led by existing investor Insight Venture Partners, with participation from CrunchFund and Lead Edge Capital, and new investor eBay Enterprise.

The company, which has now raised up to $17m, intends to use the funds to scale sales, marketing, and operations.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Chris Mason, President Jeffrey R. Hennion, Vice President, Client Services Bibhash Das, and Vice President, Business Development John Disarlo, Branding Brand provides a commerce platform for mobile commerce sites and apps. It is used by over 200 retailers, including American Eagle Outfitters, Costco, and Ralph Lauren.
