Soasta, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of cloud and mobile testing solutions, closed a $30m financing.
New investors Macquarie Capital and ROTH Capital joined existing investors Canaan Partners, Formative Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to consolidate its market position and expand globally with additional marketing, sales, and development resources.
Led by CEO Tom Lounibos, Soasta provides mobile and web testing and real-user monitoring software to create a quality user experience. Its CloudTest, TouchTest and mPulse, enable developers, QA professionals and IT operations teams streamline test creation, automate provisioning and execution, and analyze real user behavior in real-time.
Customers include Avaya, American Girl, Bonobos, Backcountry.com, Chegg, Experian, Gilt Groupe, Hallmark, Intuit, Microsoft and Netflix.
