EnerTrac Raises Series A.1 Funding

EnerTrac, a Hudson, NH-based provider of a M2M Smart Metering service, raised a Series A.1 funding of undisclosed amount.

Backers included existing investors. City Light Capital, Milestone Venture Partners, Harbor Light Capital Partners and angel investors provided $4m in Series A funding in 2011 (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to extend its market penetration and bring new products and services to market.

Led by newly added CEO George Dannecker, a technology sector veteran who has more than 35 years of multinational management experience, as well as former CEO and new CTO Steve Owens, EnerTrac provides a SaaS based monitoring service for environmentally-conscious businesses to manage and measure the status of widely distributed assets,
They are used by businesses such as residential fuel oil and propane tank automation, water and gas metering, commercial lubrications distribution, solar irradiance, etc.
