Garmor, Inc., an Orlando, Florida-based advanced materials company, raised funding from The Seed Capital Accelerator Program of the Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research.
The funding of undisclosed amount has been matched by private investors.
The company intends to use the funds to focus on volume manufacturing and customized product development
Led by Anastasia Canavan, President and CEO, Garmor manufactures graphene and composites for applications across multiple markets that currently use fiberglass, ceramics, plastics, epoxies, and metals. Leveraging advancements in composite materials development, the company aims to enable manufacturers to build stronger products.
Garmor is a University of Central Florida (UCF) Spinout.
