Fandium Raises $1.25M in Seed Funding

According to Erin Griffith of Pandodaily (read here), Conor Sports LLC, the NYC-based company that develops a social media sports game called Fandium, raised $1.25m in seed funding.

Backers included unnamed investors coming from the gaming industry.

The company intends to use the funds for platform development.

Led by Lawrence R. Lucas, Chairman, Prentice M. Salter, CEO, George Anderson, CFO, Julian Lisenberg, CTO, and Bill Yucatonis, CMO, Fandium is a mobile app for sports fans that aggregates hashtag and geo-specific content from major social media channels. It offers live scores, tools to create fantasy sports bets with friends, earn fanpoints and report news via a feature called Ureport™, which allows users to contribute their insights and photos.
