MashMeTV Raises €500K in Funding

MashMeTV, a Spanish provider of social vidoconference solutions, raised €500k in funding.

Backers included Andrew Stott (Hermes Partners S.L.), Miguel Pemán (Inversiones Trébol S.L.), Maite Barrera (Redcap Consultants S.L.) and Marlen Manasov.

The company intends to use the funds hire new people, expand its development efforts and launch the platform in different areas including education, health and employment.

Led by Víctor Sánchez Belmar, CEO, Juan Quemada Vives and Eulogio Naz Crespo, MashMeTV provides an in-browser, social video-chat to share videos, documents, presentations, links, etc. It also features an interactive blackboard.
Users can talk face to face with up to 10 of friends or colleagues. They can manage more rooms at the same time and decorate them.
The solution has been used by more than 285,000 people from 66 countries.
