Sandglaz Raises $500K in Seed Funding

Sandglaz, a Seattle, WA-based task management app, has raised $500k in seed funding.

Backers were not disclosed.

The company intends to use the capital to expand its team (, to further develop the product with enhanced features and 3rd party integration and to scale customer acquisition channels.

Founded in 2011 by CEO Nada Aldahleh and Zaid Zawaideh and a recent TechStars’ Seattle graduate, Sandglaz provides a software-as-a-service-based solution (Infinity Grid) that allows teams to collaborate and plan on their tasks. Infinity Grid enables teams to plan their tasks in adjustable time-frames, which are visualized in columns to quickly identify immediate priorities. When priorities change, they can drag and drop them to a different time-frame.
