Ramallah, Palestine-based travel startup Yamsafer has raised $1m in Series A funding.
The round was le by led by Sadara Ventures.
The company plans to use the funding to scale its technology and migrate it to mobile platforms, to expand customer
acquisition efforts and strengthen partnerships with hoteliers.
Launched in September 2011 by CEO Faris Zaher, Seri Abdelhadi and Sameh Alfar, Yamsafer enables travelers to book a huge inventory of Middle Eastern hotels online at disconted prices, and to obtain tickets for popular events in the region.
