PlaceFirst, a Didsbury, Manchester, UK-based energy and regeneration business, has received equity and loan facilities from the North West Fund for Energy & Environmental managed by CT Investment Partners.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funding to support the delivery of future projects while enabling the expansion of its professional team.
Formed in 2009 by David Smith-Milne, PlaceFirst finances and installs large-scale solar PV projects across social housing alongside its clients, including landlords in the social housing sector.
The company is currently working on an innovative project that will transform over 100 empty
terraced properties in Accrington into energy-efficient, affordable family homes.
