Vancouver, Canada-based angel investor Boris Wertz has launched a $15m micro venture capital fund (read here the news on his blog).
Version One Ventures focuses on investing between $250k to $500k in seed and Series A rounds of consumer Internet, ecommerce, SaaS and mobile companies across North-America.
Backed by over a dozen successful American and Canadian Internet entrepreneurs as well as a number of high-net worth individuals, the fund has already invested in Top Hat Monocle, Julep, Jobber, Instacanv.as and Sunnytrail.
