Zmags, a Boston, MA-based provider of rich media mobile and social merchandising, has raised $7m in financing.
Backers include Square 1 Bank and existing investors OpenView Venture Partners and Northcap Partners.
The company intends to use the funding to continue its global development plans for its SaaS platform CommercePro, which allows global retailers and brands to design marketing and merchandising campaigns across social, mobile, tablet, and e-commerce platforms.
Founded in 2006 and led by Michael Schreck, CEO and President, Zmags will raise an additional growth equity round in 2012 to support future expansion and strategic acquisitions.
The company has European offices in London and Copenhagen.
