Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has held the close of its new growth equity and venture capital fund, SEP IV, at £200m.
SEP IV attracted support from existing investors (80% of the total raised) in the UK, Europe and the United States. Backers include pension funds, fund-of-fund investors (read here), family offices and corporates.
The fund will focus on providing growth equity and venture funding to high growth UK technology and technology-related companies. The investment range is between £5m and £20m for growth capital and between £2m and £10m for venture capital.
The geographic focus of SEP IV is the UK.
