CounterTack (formerly known as NeuralIQ), a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of in-progress cyber attack intelligence and response solutions, has secured $9.5m in a Series A funding.
Bakers include Fairhaven Capital and a private group of investors.
Founded as NeuralIQ by chief architect Alen Capalik and re-launched as CounterTack in 2011, the company currently offers a detection and deep attack intelligence solution, which is designed to enable customers to actively engage with the attacker and take control over the impact of the attack, even while it’s happening.
CounterTack recently named Neal Creighton as CEO, John Worrall as executive vice president of product management and marketing and John Adams as CTO.
