Delta Wines Acquired by Rabo Capital

Delta Wines B.V., a Waddinxveen, the Netherlands-based importer and distributor of wine, has been acquired by Rabo Capital through a secondary management buy-out from HAL Investments.

Following the close of the transaction, which is still subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities and is expected to be finalized within a few months, Rabo Capital will own a majority stake in the company. The investment will support Delta’s growth plans, both domestically and internationally.

The company, which currently operates DGS Wijnkopers, Coenecoop Wine Traders, Pallas Wines and AN.KA Dystrybucja (Poland), currently employs 50 people, with revenues amounting to € 96m in 2010.
