ÅlöIntressenter AB, a Umeå, Sweden-based company that produces agricultural front loaders, has been acquired by Altor Fund III from 3i and Balticgruppen.
The investment, whose closìng is conditional upon approval from relevant competition authorities expected to take place in July, will support the company in further strengthening its position in existing markets and expanding into new markets in emerging economies (BRIC countries).
ÅlöIntressenter operates under the brands Quicke, Trima, VETO and Force, and supplies front loaders to most tractor manufacturers globally.
The company has manufacturing facilities in Sweden, USA, China and France and employs approximately 600 people.
