Revel Systems, Inc., a San Francisco, Calif.-based provider of iPad and cloud-based point-of-sale systems for the restaurant and retail industries, has closed a $3.7m round of funding.
The round was led by DCM.
The company intends to use the funding to expand sales and marketing, roll out new products, grow its tech sales and support network and further develop its customer base across the United States.
In conjunction with the funding, DCM General Partner, Jason Krikorian, has joined the Revel Systems’ Board of Directors.
Led by CEO and founder Lisa Falzone, the company delivers cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS)-based comprehensive enterprise point-of-sale products and solutions, which are designed to serve as the central system for restaurant and store operations, giving staff and management a central place to view and retrieve critical transaction and billing information.
