OceanSaver Receives Investment from Investinor and BW Ventures

OceanSaver AS, a Drammen, Norway-based company that develops and supplies technologies for purification of ballast water from ships, has received a KRO40m financing.  
Investors include Investinor and BW Ventures Ltd, which conducted the transaction as a buyout of existing shareholders  Statoil Venture, SBL Direct Investments AS (Storebrand), Höegh Autoliners Managment AS and Sumitomo Corporation.  
The company intends to use the proceeds from the financing to further grow and expand abraod.
Founded in 2003 and currently led by President and CEO Stein Foss, OceanSaver provides the marine industry with an internationally approved Ballast Water Treatment system.  
In conjunction with the transaction, Investinor Investment Director Steinar Fossen has joined the company’ s board. 
OceanSaver Today employs nearly 40 employees.
