ZoomSafer Raises $1.1M

ZoomSafer, a Reston, VA-based provider of risk management software to prevent employee use of mobile phones while driving, has closed an additional $1.1m round of financing.
Investors include White Birch Capital and SugarOak Holdings.
The company intends to use the funds to expand marketing and development efforts for its patented software products.
Led by CEO and Founder Matt Howard, ZoomSafer provides software solutions (FleetSafer™) that automatically prevents employees from texting, emailing or browsing the web while driving. The company’s FleetSafer Vision delivers a cloud-based analytics service that enables corporate management to empirically measure employee use of phones while driving.
