Venyu Solutions Inc., a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based provider of commercial-grade, customizable solutions for data protection, data hosting, and disaster recovery, has received a $25m debt and equity financing.
Gladstone Investment Corporation (Nasdaq: GAIN), Madison Parker Capital, LLC, and members of Venyu’s management supported the buyout of the company from stockholders of PHNS Inc.Venyu’s service portfolio includes online data backup, physical and virtualized recovery solutions, managed and colocation hosting, and SaaS offerings. The company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge – its main hosting site – also contains a physical business recovery center featuring 93 workspaces. Venyu also operates a continuity site that resides under 85 feet of limestone rock in Springfield, MO., and an additional site in the Boston area that offers backup and rapid recovery.
