AudioBoo, a London, UK-based web and moblie platform that enables users to record, share and save audio files, recently raised a £580k round of funding.
Investors include a syndicate of four London-based business angels, UBC Media Group and Imagination Technologies.
In conjunction with the funding, the lead angel from the syndicate, Don Cruickshank, has joined AudioBoo’s board as Chairman.
The Audioboo platform was launched In March 2009 as a free downloadable application for the iPhone and is also available on the Android platform.
The new funding will be used to develop the business by adding key professionals and expanding into the international radio market.
